- The reported dispute centers on Feastables, the chocolate and snack brand owned by Jimmy Donaldson (MrBeast) through Beast Industries. According to Page Six, several early investors are preparing legal action, alleging breaches of contract related to the use and exclusivity of Donaldson’s name, image, and likeness. No lawsuit has yet been publicly resolved, and the allegations remain unproven.
- Feastables launched in 2022 with a high-profile marketing campaign inspired by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, including golden-ticket promotions. The brand reportedly generated around $250 million in revenue during 2024, although sources cited by Page Six say sales have since slowed compared with earlier projections.
- A source close to MrBeast denied wrongdoing, saying the disputed agreements were negotiated by his previous management before Beast Industries underwent leadership changes. The company has since brought in executives including Jeff Housenbold as CEO of Beast Industries, Damien Atkins as Chief Legal Officer, and Michelle St. Jacques to lead Feastables.
- This is only one of several legal challenges involving MrBeast. His ongoing dispute with Virtual Dining Concepts over MrBeast Burger continues, with both sides accusing each other of breaching their partnership agreement.
- Beast Industries is also dealing with litigation related to Beast Games, where contestants filed a class-action lawsuit alleging unpaid wages, inadequate working conditions, and other production issues. Representatives for MrBeast have previously disputed those allegations.
- Despite the legal issues, MrBeast’s business empire continues to expand. Beast Industries has reportedly raised hundreds of millions of dollars in funding, while Donaldson recently surpassed 500 million YouTube subscribers and continues to pursue new ventures beyond content creation.
The dispute is still developing, and there has been no court ruling determining liability. Any claims made by investors or other parties should therefore be understood as allegations until resolved through legal proceedings.
